Been there twice and tried different things, unfortunately didn’t like either time. Birthday cake in the shake was hard and weird tasting. Chocolate shake was too thick and needed a spoon to scoop it out.

A friend and I have been there several times. And we always got a good amount of ice cream but this time the old guy and he serve us and took care of our order. He must be cheap because we got ice cream there before and they gave us a large amount of ice cream. Well the owner decided more whipped cream then ice cream. So we called on the phone to complain about it. Then he answered the phone. And he said we should have brought it back. Well I live 20 mi from the place. We go there because they give you a large amount of ice cream and ice cream's great but if you see the owner there the old guy please don't get ice cream from him because he'll give you whipped cream not ice cream it is ridiculous so I guess he said just give him more whipped cream that ice cream you think the owner know better. After this review I guarantee the owner will talk to his employees and tell them they're giving us to much ice cream. I talked to other friends and they said the same thing they said when the owner is there don't get ice cream because he's stingy on the ice cream that is ridiculous on top of that when we talk to the owner he was rude on the phone you said well you should have saved it well it

I live in Joliet for 20 years my first time wanting to try this popular ice cream shop. I hear so much about why my whole experience such an attitude? Like why? Ugh We live in a time where customer service is dying these days What's wrong with old-fashioned Hospitality. Sucks I really wanted to give this place a chance! 😩

We have always loved Walts! Even if there is a line, people are just genuinely in a good mood and friendly behind the counter and even in line. It just has that type of atmosphere which is so rare. Everything we have ever tried off the menu has been delicious and their soft serve is the best around. Thank you for offering a low stress, super adorable, and family friendly way to meet the Easter bunny as well!

Great variety of flavors. Reasonable prices! Their soft serve ice cream is very rich in flavor. They take all type of payments. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. Outdoor sitting area by the parking lot.
